"It was a rainy Saturday evening in The Edge Auditorium where Juwita Suwito, a Malaysian artist was performing with a 17 piece orchestra. The sun set in the backdrop overlooking the Yarra River, and the concert lights shone more prominently in contrast.
In this concert hall where most of us were Malaysians, we had the news and thoughts of a tragedy at home fresh in our minds. A crisis in Sabah, Malaysia has already left 70 dead and displaced nearly 5000 people, in a violent standoff that was still ongoing.
Halfway through the concert, Juwita shared her thoughts and prayers for those who were home, and began to sing these words..."
